Acquired from the U.S. NAVY, Westover Townhomes is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Formerly used as housing for non-commissioned officers, the existing homes were completely gutted, renovated and leased within 18 months. The final project consists of 30 townhomes within 15 buildings spanning a 5-acre site.

The Residences at Bexley Woods consists of 651 units located on a 40-acre parcel in Columbus, Ohio. Bank-owned for three years prior to acquisition, the property had a history of deferred maintenance and poor service. Assembling a completely new management team, Avenue Equity placed renewed emphasis on customer service. The new management team addressed property-wide maintenance issues in a timely manner, improving residents’ satisfaction. Within one year of acquisition, the property has been stabilized with a solid tenant base. A phased improvement plan has been initiated to make continued property improvements and subsequently increase rents.

This was an extensive restoration of a Victorian row home in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. Every effort was made to preserve the unique 19th century architectural details of the existing Italianate façade, while updating the home with modern conveniences and new, high-efficiency mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
